With just a little extra help, students can thrive in their studies. To be successful in life, students will need to have confidence, work hard, and believe they can be successful. We want to teach your child these skills, but do it in a fun way that makes them want to learn.
WHAT WE DO
We are in the business of helping kids change their lives through education. The work we do at Laugh & Learn Tutoring is aimed at providing a fun approach to helping children learn and get ahead in school. We provide cost-free tutoring to children from traditionally disadvantaged backgrounds to help them keep a competitive edge with other children in their class.
LAUGH
No child likes to be bored! At Laugh & Learn Tutoring, students will be able to learn and laugh at the same time. In order for your child to learn at their highest potential, they have to want to learn. We will make learning fun so your child will be begging to come back for more. It's a win-win for the parents and the kids.

At Laugh & Learn, children learn how to tell time by playing hopscotch on a large clock drawn in chalk. To advance through the clock, they have to answer questions about what time they have landed on. At Laugh & Learn, children learn multiplication/division facts by creating a life sized board game and becoming the board pieces that move from square to square. They can only advance by answering math questions! Then, to reinforce the math topics learned, children play "Capture the Kids" and/or "Mother May I?" Imagine your child getting exercise and learning, and they don't even realize it!

What about writing? Imagine your child receiving a raffle ticket for every juicy detail used in his/her writing. At the end of the week, your child participates in an auction for prizes using the tickets they earned. Having trouble with grammar? For every correct use of a comma, an extra ticket. There are lots of ways to make writing fun!

At Laugh & Learn Tutoring, we tutor students primarily in Math and Writing, but we are willing to help your child with any subject.

Our philosophy is to teach kids how to attack problems on their own. We won't just tell your child the answer; rather, we teach your child how to do the problem themselves so they can do it independently the next time. Our focus is not just improving students' grades, but their spirits as well.
​
On the first day of tutoring, we will assess your child's strengths. We will tailor our lessons specifically to their needs. Students will receive one-on-one attention and lessons designed specifically for them.
ABOUT ME
I am a senior in high school who enjoys learning and working with children. I would like to give back to my community by helping children learn to love learning. I believe that, with the right support, every child can be successful.

One of the reasons I enjoy learning is because my mom always created fun ways to learn. I want to share these ideas with your children. Not every parent has the time to tutor their children, and most children resist doing extra work. This is where I step in. I spend the extra time helping them and make it fun so the kids are excited to learn.
